该剧从四名刚刚迈入大学校园的女生的视角展开，讲述了她们在大学四年中的成长故事。。以描写中国老北京胡同中，一对孪生兄妹的幸福家庭生活为题材。故事主人公小东和小西，以及胡同里的年轻人们，为着各自的梦想在都市里努力的拼搏着。老东老西作为老一代的长辈，一方面要适应现代的生活，一方面还得操劳孩子们的婚事。而从外星来到地球的兔爷和雨燕，因为喜爱上了这里的美食文化而住在小东家里。由于文化的不同，闹出不少啼笑皆非的事情，但也渐渐融入这里的生活并且爱上了这里的人们。。After thirty years in the big corporation, Ugo Fantozzi retires. Suddenly, he needs things to do in everyday life and he tries a number of activities: helping Pina shopping| babysitting grand-daughter Uga| a trip to Venice| learning golf. He then fakes documents to get a new job, but in the end he becomes a hypochondriac and doesn't even take a long-awaited chance with Miss Sil...。
