It also provides a glimpse into a parallel universe where he is n...。以原作13年后为时间线，“单身贵族” 建筑师桑野信介（阿部宽）依旧过着独自一人的公寓生活，期间虽然和早坂夏美交往，最终还是分手收场。进化到令和的不婚男，是否能遇到命运之人呢？。此為TV版動畫第三部，從1997年4月4日至1997年9月26日放映，全26話。 此作完全脫離原作，為動畫原創故事，原創的角色也很多。由於是動畫原創，部分設定和原作設定相矛盾，並且原本的主角：莉娜等人的存在變成了半個旁觀者。故事走向太過於沉重路線，和原作原本的作風相距甚遠，所以沒有受到與前二作相等的評價。。
