电影取材于真实历史，根据1942年冀南“四·二九”反扫荡改编，将再现冀南区人民不畏牺牲、绝地反击、英勇战斗的精神。。影片中讲述了一位最基层的女性计划生育工作者响应国策，深入下乡开展工作时遇到的重重挫折。从一开始工作难以推进并受到他人误解，到少数人的理解，再到后来大多数人的支持，这一切都离不开剧中女主人公和她的同伴们这些计划生育工作者的努力。。Two groups of young people, from two opposed worlds, who have two things in common: one, they are passionate about dancing and acting| and two, they are going through that period in which life forces them to define their path.。
