陆小道为救混元大师在魔蛛林将千年彩蛛精打死，彩蛛精在临死前将全身毒液侵住在腹中的混元大师体内，将混元大师化为彩蛛人形，直至七七四十九日后妖化重生。为解混元大师之毒，在鹿童仙子的指引下陆小道带着混元大师前往九仙山灵宵谷，寻找月牙池的路上与一众妖怪展开了一系列啼笑皆非的故事。。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’. Everything seems perfect until the French Captain returns.。
